Born out of a desire to linger in a yin yoga practice without the worry of time or anywhere to go afterward, the concept emerged. This is an opportunity to sink deeply into the practice, without a need to leave the studio. Given the timing of this event, we will immerse ourselves fully in a practice honoring the winter season. This is when we initiate our inward reflection, not necessarily taking action out in the world. Sinking into the moment to create a vision that we hold steadily in our hearts throughout our journey in 2025 and beyond.
There will be a shared meal, and options for playful community projects, exploring childlike activities such as coloring or painting. Sleeping arrangements will be sorted depending on who would like to go to sleep sooner, and who wants to stay up longer.
In the morning, we will wake in sacred silence to arrive again in a space of reflection, and will end our time together with a practice of gentle movement and chanting to bless the time together and the studio space itself. After leaving the studio, we can share breakfast at TacoDeli, if desired.
