Come treat yourself to an afternoon of myofascial release and yin yoga bliss led by Kelly!
Self-myofascial release is a technique used to release sticky and adhered fascia in the body. This practice can help to improve flexibility and range of motion, calm the mind, and develop deeper body awareness. In this workshop, we will use tennis/lacrosse balls (you are welcome to bring your own devices from home if you have them) to roll out different parts of the body. After you roll, melt into infinity as we take a few relaxing yin postures to drop deeper into embodiment. We will end class with a long, nourishing svasana and soundbath. Everyone will leave with their own set of rolling tennis balls to use at home! This practice will leave your body feeling like a noodle and your mind calm and at ease.
