Monica Giannobile
Monica's first yoga class was in her local library as a teenager. Intrigued, she took yoga coursework in college and practiced at a local studio under a work-trade arrangement. After graduating, she continued to practice various styles of yoga ultimately completing a 200-hour teacher training in hatha yoga followed by a 50-hour training in children's yoga along with supplemental education in trauma-informed yoga for children and family science. She is excited to guide classes for kids and families at Studio Satya, particularly classes for teens.
Outside of yoga, Monica holds an master's of education in learning design, which she draws on to design and facilitate talent development programs for adults. She has a small family of her own, including a toddler and a golden retriever, Enzo.
